1. Who We Are
Track Your Reps ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile app and companion website designed to help people plan warm-ups, record workouts, manage timers, and log personal records without needing an account. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you visit trackyourreps.app or use the Track Your Reps app.
2. Information We Collect
- On-device workout data. Entries you create inside the app (for example, PRs, timers, or workout notes) live only on your device. They are not synced to our servers and we cannot access them.
- Optional sharing. If you use your device's share sheet to export a workout or PR, the content you share is handled entirely by your operating system and the destination you choose. We do not receive it.
- Support communications. When you email us about a question or issue, we collect the information you choose to share so that we can respond.
- Store and platform diagnostics. Apple and Google supply us with anonymized install metrics, crash logs, and performance diagnostics that help us maintain the app. These reports never include the workout data you store on your device.
- Website analytics. Our web hosting provider may log standard technical information (browser, device type, IP address, and pages visited) to keep the site reliable and secure. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide core app features such as workout tracking, timers, and calculating weight plates.
- Diagnose bugs, crashes, or performance issues reported through Apple, Google, or your direct support request.
- Improve usability by understanding which devices and operating systems are most active.
- Comply with legal obligations or enforce our Terms of Service when necessary.
4. Data Storage & Retention
- Your workout data remains locally on your device until you delete the entry, uninstall the app, or wipe your device. If you back up your device to services like iCloud or Google Drive, Apple or Google stores those backups under their own terms.
- Support emails and crash diagnostics are kept only as long as needed to troubleshoot the issue and maintain accurate records.
5. Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell or rent personal information. We only share information in the limited situations below:
- Platform partners. Apple App Store and Google Play process purchases, downloads, crash logs, and platform analytics subject to their own policies.
- Service providers. Email or cloud infrastructure tools we use to run support may temporarily process the data you send us, following confidentiality and security obligations.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a lawful request, or defend our rights.
6. Security
Because Track Your Reps stores workout history locally, you control security through your device passcode, biometric lock, and backup settings. We maintain appropriate safeguards for the limited support data we hold, but no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. Please notify us immediately if you believe your device or account has been compromised.
7. Your Rights & Choices
- Delete any workout data directly inside the app or by uninstalling Track Your Reps.
- Disable or reset device-level analytics sharing through your Apple or Google privacy settings.
- Contact us to access, correct, or delete information you previously shared via support channels.
8. Children's Privacy
Track Your Reps is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child shared information with us, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. International Visitors
The app and website are operated from the United States. By using Track Your Reps, you understand that your information may be processed in the U.S. or any country where our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or regulatory changes. When we post an update, we will revise the "Effective date" above and, when appropriate, notify you via the website or app release notes.
